I started working with Pete in 2021 but his world building project started long before.
Landfall is a world building project created by Pete Michaud.
It is a retro futuristic world where space travel, terraformation and alien species exist.
Pete created world, races, cultures, factions and mythology for all the stories that happen in Landfall. I got lucky to work on some of them.
Main Van
To keep everything tied together, Pete is writing a main storyline following a group of characters.
In their living context, the main form of transportation is through vans.
Vans are basically wagons, pulled by animal traction, but they plain the main role on transportation on the world of Landfall.
Instead of cars, buses and trucks, they rely on different wagons made for specific purposes.
This one is where the protagonists live.
